Drupalcron.org is in beta.

It's getting closer to a stable service.

From off now the service disables websites which weren't reachable the last 2 times AND 75% of all checks were erroneous.
A user can re-enable the website just by editing it.

What does it do?

You can register here and subscribe 5 drupal sites. The cron.php of those drupal sites will be visited every hour.
When you administer more then 5 drupal sites, you can install the cron module (link) on one of your drupal sites. With that module you can subscribe countless drupal sites, which cron.php will be visited when the cron of the drupal site with the cron module is executed. When that cron is listed here, you don't have to worry about any cron configuration.

For whom ?

It's for everyone, but it's more for a beginning drupal user, who just doesn't like to do things on the server itself or for an admin of several drupal installations spread over several servers.

For those admins, see it as one of the tools in a set of admin tools. More news about those will follow when ready.
